Falling For You

Kind of an unconventional Valentine's Day card since it is in Fall colors and has a fall image but I think its cute nonetheless!

This little image is one that Joni Stringfield and I came up with for Paper Pretties.  I found her already colored in my stack of prestamped images so I couldn't resist throwing a quick card together with her.  I absolutely LOVE this ribbon from Stamping Up - it is just THEE nicest texture you'll ever find in ribbon.  It is so easy to work with!  You can buy it right HERE! Let it Snow, Let it Snow...

Let it Snow!  Do you ever just feel like you need a snow day?  Sometimes I feel like I need a week of snowdays just to catch up, relax, stamp, cuddle with Andy and the boys and enjoy being in the coziness of home!
This card was inspired by just that feeling and was another of the prestamped images I had on my desk:

He Will Complete It!!!

I just LOVE this scripture.  This is a stamp that Julie Masse and I designed when we worked together at Paper Pretties.  It will always be one of my favs and I love how this card turned out!  I cased the layout from someone...sorry.

Make a Wish

I have a big stack of pre-stamped images that I'm trying to use up!  Remember my New Year's resolution - use what you have!  I do have an alterior (sp?) motive - I'm trying to use what I have so I can get NEW stuff - LOL!  I just can't get more stuff with a clear conscience without either using up or getting rid of stuff I already have!  This is a Paper Pretties image that I had in my drawer:

Turns out that alot of Benjamin's friends in kindergarten are girls so this will be perfect for the next little girl's birthday party!!

For Friends

I'm Retiring

By now you may have heard or seen that we have sold Paper Pretties.   This was a big desicion for our family but one I am very sure was right for us.  I have enjoyed my adventure with Paper Pretties but feel that at this time I need to devote more time to my family. 

We are very excited about what the future holds and thank you for your patronage over the years. 
I'll still be here of course, keeping you abreast of what's happening in our lives and hope that you'll continue to visit me!! Pin It

Pretties Wednesday Challenge 102

Welcome back for another Prettie Challenge.  This week - as every first Wednesday of the month is our sketch challenge by Frances.  Here is a pic of the sketch for you:

I'm previewing one of our new digi images and I just LOVE this little guy!  Introducing Bath Time Cooper & a new rubber sentiment - Bubbles Everywhere.  This sentiment works great with both Bath Time Cooper and Bubble Time Sophia.

I added a bunch of liquid applique to make the bubbles.  This little guy is too cute!

50 Cent Friday & a New Sentiment

Its 50 cent Friday and this week we are offering ALL of our Bo Bunny designer paper for .50 per sheet.  You can order as many as you like while quantities last!
We are also previewing a new sentiment we'll be releasing on May 1st - its called Bubbles Everywhere.

This image is always so much fun to play with.  It gives so many opportunities to use all the 'extras' on our cards.  The bubbles have liquid pearls on them as do the lids of the bubble bath.  The bath matt is covered in flower soft.  The towel on Sophia's head has flocking on it and the ducky is covered in Diamond Glaze to make him look shiney!  The dp on the paper is some of the Bo Bunny that is on sale in the store today!  There are three coordinating designs.

This is our new sentiment and I just love how it goes with this image!

SO Sweeet!

Today I have a Prettie Peek of a new rubber stamp set we are releasing on May 1st!  This set is so fun and has so much potential.

I colored the image with my copics and then played a little - he he.  I added diamond glaze to the "icing" on the cupcakes and then used bead 'sprinkles'.  I added some diamond stickles to the cake plate.  The plaid paper is from the Pretties boutique - You can find it HERE.

Prettie Wednesday 101

Today our challenge is hosted by Heather!  The challenge was to make a card using a punch - couldn't be a nestie - had to be a real punch!!  We're using Rainy Day Friends or Soakin Up the Sun and you can get both of them for 35% off in the Paper Pretties Store, this week only!
Here's my challenge card:

I used Rainy Day Friends and my punch was the scalloped edge punch for the green striped paper.  I added some rain drop stickers some eyelet ribbon and some flowers.  I was happy with how it turned out!  Head over to Julie's blog and see what she's made for you today. Pin It

Sunshiney Days!

Its time for another week of Prettie Peeks!  Today I am showing of one of our new digi stamps called Sunny Bumbles.  It sells for 3.00 and you can find it HERE.

The sentiment on this card comes from Rainy Day Friends!
I used paper from Chatterbox ( I think).  Ribbon from my stash, some robin nest baubles.  The dark green card stock is garden green from Stamping Up.  I used my diamond stickles on the bees' wings and my copic spica glitter pens on the sun and rays.  The image is colored with my copics.  Hop on over and visit Jane and see what she has cooked up for you!

Happy Prettie Birthday

Today I'm sending out a huge Happy Birthday wish to Jana!  Jana has been a Prettie Girl for, well, its hard to remember a time she wasn't a prettie girl - ;0)!  Jana is always upbeat and positive and a great problem solver.  She is always coming up with new ideas and I've seen her stamping style grow and change into - what I would say - is one of the most inspiring blogs on the internet.  If you haven't seen it - make sure you stop over there and tell her a big birthday hi!

Toonie Copic Tuesday
