For You Flower?

I love this flower stamp and I love that it matches a punch!  Stampin Up does such a great job of making their products coordinate!  It makes creating beautiful things so easy to do.

I love the color combination too.  Pink Pirouette, Certainly Celery, Chocolate chip & Crumb cake.

Easter Silhouette

As soon as I saw the Easter Blossoms stamp set, I knew I had to have it.  Having said that I haven't really ever sent out Easter cards - I guess I should start ;0).

This card was inspired by Renee Vanstralen - she is amazing and always has fresh, new, creativity to share on her blog.

I colored the apple blossoms with my white gel pen.  The ink is regal rose and the paper is pretty in pink.  I LOVE LOVE LOVE the decorative label punch!  The whole main image is popped up on dimensionals!

A Birthday for Twins

My amazing twins turned 8 on Saturday.  Wow, that happened when I blinked.  The time has gone SO fast!  I only remember snippets of when they were babies, but I remember very clearly the pregnancy and the preparation - practical and mental - for the arrival of TWO babies. 
Every single day I look at them and marvel at the amazing little people God decided to trust me with - how humbling!  My little dreams come true! 
Jacob is a leader - a born leader.  Its just who God made him to be.  What a huge responsiblity to parent a child like this.  To teach him that leaders are kind, to teach him how to make tough decision, and to teach him how to lead with love.  Thank God we have the example of Jesus to follow!  He also loves to draw us pictures and write us stories and read them to us :0)

Eli is so sensitive, his is a hard worker and loves the status quo.  He is eager to please all the time and loves to bless those around him.  He is constantly writing me poems and stories, making me cards and telling me how much he loves me.  He has still kept his new years resolution and is very proud of that!  He is wise and has a very strong conscience, constantly keeping Jacob on track despite Jacob 'leading' him to do things that are questionable.  This is one of my favorite pictures EVER!

They had a skating party this year - we barely made it with the weather - it was pretty slushy and we had alot of wet ski pants when we got home but they had fun nevertheless.  They were each allowed to invite 4 kids so all together we had 11 (including Benjamin). 
As these 11 cherubs were racing around our house slamming doors, chasing each other and screaming, Andy turned to me and said - do you see now why I don't think the movie Cheaper By The Dozen is funny - LOL!

Simply Adorned

Have you seen the Simply Adorned jewelry in the catalogue?  I think it is such a neat idea that I had to order a bracelet for myself.  I was so impressed with the quality of the jewelry.  The charms have some real weight to them and the the pearl and gems from the occassions mini are really pretty!  I decorated up my bracelet like this:

This next one I used the window sheets from the clearance rack and one of the basic pearls.

 This is the other side of the same charm:

 For the round charm, I stamped the edge of the Elizabeth stamp and added a little gem.

Falling For You

Kind of an unconventional Valentine's Day card since it is in Fall colors and has a fall image but I think its cute nonetheless!

This little image is one that Joni Stringfield and I came up with for Paper Pretties.  I found her already colored in my stack of prestamped images so I couldn't resist throwing a quick card together with her.  I absolutely LOVE this ribbon from Stamping Up - it is just THEE nicest texture you'll ever find in ribbon.  It is so easy to work with!  You can buy it right HERE! Yellow Yikes!

This yellow was a littttttle bright!  I do like this color combo but should have used a more muted yellow.  I think the black on the flowers looks a little harsh as well so I maybe should have stamped it in grey! 

I did add some black glitter to the center of the flowers which is tough to see in the pic.  I love the sentiment stamped across the tag and the grey!  The stamp set is anther oldie by SU called watercolor garden.  The yellow c/s was embossed with a sizzix texture plate and the ribbon is from my stash.  The tag is really old as well and the punch used on the black is a fiskars paper edger!  Thanks for stopping by today! Hmmm What Was the Name of This Again....

There was a period where I ordered some SU stuff from a few friends but never really paid too much attention and for the life of me, I still can't remember the name of this set! 

This set maaaaayyy be going!  Its cute but not one I absolutely love!  This dp is by basic grey and the sentiment is also from an old SU sentiment set and its staying!!  The ribbon, I think, is PTI and the button is from my little ol stash! Pin It

Another Oldie but a Goodie!

I think this set was from a mini.  I don't even know the name of it and I'm not in my stamp room to look right now but I've always loved this set!

Old and Older

You'll be seeing alot of these retired stamps for the next little while since I'm going through my collection using each and every set I have to decide if I like them enough to keep them or if I should sell them!  I've done up some Mother's Day cards b/c I was running low on them!  Here is one made with an old set called Love You Bunches - I think it was a saleabration set a long time ago!

I think its a cute little set and a keeper, ugh, how am I ever going to decide which of these to let go!

An Old Angel

Waaaaaayyyyy back when I started stamping, this set was a hostess set from a mini.  I have always loved it and it still remains one of my favorite sets.  For this card I used the main image for a sympathy card:

A very simple card but pretty nonetheless.  The angel is stamped on shimmer white c/s which is hard to see from the pic!  She glistens, much like I imagine a real angel would :0).

Retired??

I love this retired set from SU.  I don't remember the name of it but I thought it would make a lovely sympathy card:

I used my aquapainter on watercolor paper for this image and I was very happy with the results!  Here are all the deets:
