Last One!

Here is the last of my Christmasy goodies! It is a largish match box!  I was surprised how big this actually turned out and thought that because of the size of it you could actually use it for cards or tags and a nice little gift!
The colors look a big off but there is a white felt snowflake tucked in behind this image from whipper snapper.  The sentiment is from SU as is the ribbon.  The dp is from mme I think.  You can see the snowman shimmering in the light.  I just loved how this little box turned out!  Tomorrow its on to some new things!  We're leaving Christmas behind and embracing all that 2011 has to offer! 2 More...

We're gettting close to being done with Christmas!!  Actually this is the last card I have to share.  Tomorrow is something a little different that I hope you'll enjoy!  This is a really simple card I put together with some DP and red satin ribbon!
This is some confetti cream cardstock - does SU even carry that anymore - oiy!  Anyway, the sentiment is from SU as well.  The dp is Websters and the bottom border is punched out using an EK success border punch.  I used one of the stick pins from my SU pretties kit to add the final touch to the big juicy satin bow!  The main image is popped up off the card base adding some dimension!  Last one tomorrow - are you coming back to see what it is??? 3 More Christmas Cards to Go

Here is the 3rd to last Christmasy card!
This is a Stampendous stamp I've had for quite some time.  I embossed it in gold on Vanilla c/s and then cut  it out.  This card is so much prettier IRL then it looks in the pic.  The main card base is Vanilla followed by a beautiful gold shimmery layer, another vanilla layer and finally, a vanilla, snowflake flocked vellum.  It looks so rich and pretty.  I added clear swarovski crystals to the ornament to make it sparkle as well!  Very festive!!  Are you all enjoying your Christmas gifts?  I know I'm a little late, but I'd love to hear what you all recieved! Only 4 More...

Christmas treats!  You were expecting 5 weren't you?  Turns out I counted wrong and there are only 4 more!  Here is today's treat for you:
More pastely Christmas cards - love those non-traditional Christmas colors.  I also loved using my new sewing machine to do a little stitching on this card!  This card was inspired by someone's blog but I honestly can't remember who.  Forgive me if its you and thank you for providing such amazingly creative ideas!
This is a retired SU set and some old SU dp! Pin It

6 More...

Christmas cards  to show you!  This one shows off some more felt snowflakes!
Creamy Caramel - lol!  When is the last time you used that color - or even heard of it - he he!  I had this velvet ribbon that matched perfectly and I just love the natural look that this card showed combined with the sparkle and elegance of the organdy!  Simple yet pretty!
The sentiment is SU embossed with silver embossing powder!
Turns out this card is perfect for right now because in the last two days, we've recieved almost 18" of snow - wowsa!  We're staying inside and snuggling with the kiddos and loving every minute of it!  Stay warm and thanks for visiting me! Pin It

More Christmas!

I continued my ...Days of Christmas posting when I realized that the rest of the posts didn't save - ugh!  So, here I am in January posting my Christmas cards I made after Christmas - giggle!
I've been contemplating a stamping decision for a while and think I've finally made up my mind and I'm very excited about it.  I'll share that with you in a while ~wink~ but for now, here is another Christmas card for you!
The inspiration for this card came from the Scrapbook Trends blog (I think).  I took some shimmer card stock - yummo!  I love ALL things sparkly - such a girly girl!  Then I stamped a Paper Trey sentiment across the top and bottom (the sentiment is straight but the pic is crooked).  I used my nesties to cut a frame out some old SU Christmas paper from my stash and then used my felt SU snowflakes from last year and a big swarovski crystal in the middle to make it sparkle!  Love it! On the 5th Day of Christmas...

I pulled out some foam stickers and ....
voila!  The snowflakes are from the dollar store as are the foam letters.  The centers of the snowflakes have little green gems in them - simple!  LOVE IT! (the simple part I mean!) Pin It

On the 3rd Day of Christmas...

I played with this little polar bear from Stamping Bella.  I think he is just adorable and was really happy with how this card turned out!
I'm not sure who the sentiment is by - I think it might be a dollar store stamp.  Its hard to tell from the pic but the red stripes are colored with my spica pen so they are nice and sparkly!  LOVIN these simple cards! Pin It

On the 2nd Day of Christmas....

some Making Memory Christmas embellies.
This card was made with a felt poinsetta that I got in a mm kit from last year.  I just love it and the paper is some old SU that I had in my stash.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts.  Its hard to tell in the pic but the dp is zigzag stitched on with my NEW sewing machine DH got me for Christmas!!!  Anyone want to buy a Janome sew mini?
Thanks for looking!

Is Anyone Out There????

I don't know if anyone is out there anymore but if you are, you are very very loyal - lol!  Its been soooo long since I posted.  Truthfully, life has gotten so busy with these 4 boys of ours that I just haven't had time to do any type of hobby activity at all.  Until last night that is!  My DH insisted that we head down to our den where his video games and my stamping stuff are and spend some leisure time together.  So I stamped like crazy to try and replenish my Christmas cards for next year.  Over the next few days I'll show you what I came up with - many of which were inspired by the amazing blogs I visit all the time!
So, here is the first card:
Ingredients:  swiss dot cuttlebug folder, pti inks, swarovski crystals, mft die, and snowflake punch.

Simple but pretty.  Completely describes our weather here today - a good day for snuggling in and hmmm, stamping I think!  I hope you all had an amazing Christmas surrounded by those you love! Pin It

On the 10th Day of Christmas....

I finally played with my pretties kit!  I bought this SU pretties kit literally years ago and have only used a couple of peices out of it so I finally took the plunge and here is what I came up with:
A very simple card with an elegant touch.

Happy Monday

I did it!!!!  I bought this Thomas Kincaid stamp quite a while ago from Cornish Heritage Farms because I was admiring all of the beautiful cards that have been made with these stamps.  I finally got a chance to use it and although I didn't do any of the awesome coloring I have seen on alot of the other cards out there, I thought this turned out kind of cute!

Fluffy Christmas

Okay the traditional christmas colors are not my favorite but this little stamp was just crying out to be flocked!!!  I put flocking on the tree and the kitty.  I was so tickled with how the tree turned out - now if they'd just come out with a nicer color green!  The balls on the tree are crystal effects with red glitter on top!

Oh Bella

OMGosh.  Okay, I am totally addicted to these stamps.  They are sooooo cute.  These are like Barbies for grown up.  Having said that - how much fun do you think I'm having - WOOOHOOOO.
Here are the cards I have made so far with these stamps.  Check out the album in the column on the left for all the details.
I used the Big Blossom sellabration stamp with some awesome printed paper I pulled out of my cabinet.  Girls just wanna shop!

Here's my tribute to Daisy Duke - what a great girl she was!

OH BABY!  For those of you that have children, can you remember when you were this big?  I sure can and shopping was the only thing that made me feel better (well shopping and bubble baths).

OOOOOOOOOH LA LA
Love this stamp because my engagement ring is a solitaire - remember those days girls.

You're the best!- love this card to give to a girl friend.  Remember getting ready to go out with the girls?

Bling Bling- Love how this card sparkles IRL!

Its a Boy, Its a Boy, Its a Boy, Its a Boy - yep all 4 times and lovin them all!

Holiday Shopping - yeh!!!

Hey Girly!  Let's hit the beach!

Giggles - remember heading out with the girls for a couple of drinks?

Ode to my Wilms - Remind you of anyone?

Tickled Pink - It was a perfect day!!!

Okay - its obvious - did you notice how many times I just said "remember"?  These stamps are definitely reminiscent of earlier days - they are so much fun.  However, I wouldn't trade my life today for anything.  It is perfect, a wonderful husband, 4 beautiful boys, a nice warm house, health - everything I've always dreamed of (but its still fun to play - he he).
