Tutorial: Polished Stone

Here is my tutorial on the polished stone technique.  Have fun!
Step 1:  Cut a piece of glossy card stock.  This will not work with regular c/s.  I cut one the size of a card front.

Step 2:  Soak a cotton ball with rubbing alcohol.

Step 3:  Choose 2 or 3 coordinating colors of reinkers.  Put one drop of each color on the cotton ball.

Step 4:  Dab the cotton ball repeatedly onto the glossy c/s until you achieve the desired effect.  The rubbing alcohol should cause the colors to run together giving the appearance of "a polished stone".  Allow your c/s to dry.

Step 5:  Using "staz on" ink stamp your main image on your card stock.

Step 6:  Trim and finish your card!!
